The diagnosis part was quick and accurate. Once the part was received, it was very quick to replace so I was only without my vehicle for a short amount of time. Friendly and helpful customer service as well.
I bought a 2024 Chevy Silverado from Ghent on 7/4/23. The sales person did not know that the "travel tires" were on the vehicle. He told me at the end of the buying process that I could not drive the vehicle off the lot, but that the service team would install the correct tires the next morning, he would pick me up, and I would drive him back to the dealership and I would have my vehicle. I operate on a day-rate contract which pays me $900/day. Because this was my new work truck and I had no backup, I lost $900 because of this delay. But the next morning I did not receive a call. I had to call the dealership at 10:30a, at which time I was told the correct tires had not arrived, and I would have to wait an undefined amount of time in order to take possession of the vehicle. This was unacceptable, as I could not afford to lose another day of work. I ultimately had to drive to the dealership in my uncle's car and force the issue. Luis, one of the sales managers, was very polite and made apologies and was able to get me in to the service department "early", which ended up being 3:00pm that afternoon, for a set of temporary tires. But when I finally picked the vehicle up, it had temporary tires, only a quarter tank of gas, and only one key. I had to put another $75 into gas to go to work the next day. It took a negative Google review to get anyone to call me and actually start to deal with my problem. As of now (7/11/23 - seven days after my vehicle's purchase), I have an appointment for Friday, 7/14/23, to get tires and my tonneau cover put on the truck (which will cost me another $900 day of work off). While Luis has been very polite and has kept in contact with me to make sure my tires and tonneau cover were scheduled as quickly as possible, I'm left with a bad taste in my mouth regarding my Ghent experience and would recommend against my friends/family/colleagues purchasing a vehicle there for the following reasons: 1. Lost a day of work ($900) because the dealership did not have correct tires on the vehicle. 2. Lost $75 in fuel because the dealership did not give me possession of the vehicle with a full tank of gas (like they said they would) 3. Ten full days from time of purchase to when I actually received what I purchased (should it really take that long for wheels and a tonneau cover?) 4. A rude service department - took the attitude of "It's not my problem, therefore there's nothing I can do". I felt like they were looking at me as the problem, even though I was only expecting the time frames their sales department told me! 5. ZERO compensation for my lost wages/time, other than an apology (which was nice) and a promise to get things done as quickly as possible (again, nice). While I appreciate that, I've talked to others about my experience and they tell me their experience with other dealerships who have compensated customers for lost time/money by throwing in perks, upgrades, etc. Having spent >$90,000 with Ghent, I guess I expected a little more. Or, at the very least, the same as friends who have received a much better experience having spent less with other dealers. Despite Luis' attempts to apologize and keep me informed (which, again, I appreciate), I'm left with a bitter taste in my mouth and can say with certainty I will not be recommending Ghent to anyone I know.

I was happy they allowed my vehicle to be towed to the dealership after hours from Denver and when I went in the h following day to get get an estimate to fix the car Bryan was very accommodating. At that point everything was fine. I was told they were very busy but would fit me in between jobs. That was fine. I needed both service work and body work done so I was to get a quote emailed to me from Angela which I never received! Finally I went back to the shop and asked what the hold up was about. Bryan printed out the estimate that I was to have received and took me over to Collision where I explained I only wanted the bumper attached and no paint etc. so she gave me a new estimate and since a part was on order at servicing she said her team would start tearing the bumper off which was fine. However, my car sat there for over a week before servicing got it back to do the axel seal repair but they couldn’t put on the undercarriage part because the bumper was still off! So it went back to collision where it sat for several days before the bumper was attached and servicing finished their repairs! All in all by car was there for a total of 16 days! Every time I called for status I was either told parts had not come in, the technician assigned to the job was out that day, or the bumper was still off and I was transferred to collision where I left a voicemail but my call was never returned! When I did speak to Angela I was given a day it “should” be completed but of course that day came and went! It was s very frustrating 2 weeks! I feel I was totally given the run around!
